The company Boston Dynamics has introduced a new four legged robot, named “Spot”. Smaller or slower than some of its predecessors, “Spot” is characterized by an unusual balance for a robot. While other models have primarily been built to carry loads, it is more intended to serve as a scout for rough terrain, for relief, for example.
